WHAT HAST THOU?

WORDS OF LIFE DEVOTIONAL

[Topic] - WHAT HAST THOU?

[Scripture] - 2 kings 4:2 (KJV) : " And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil."

[Message] - Good morning.
The bible is full of promises from God concerning our prosperity. He wishes that we prosper (3 Jn. 2), and in Deut. 8:18, that as long as we remember Him, He will give the power to get wealth.

As a matter of fact, our God is not poor. He is the God who said, "silver is mine, and gold is mine (Haggai 2:8), He is unlimited in resources and since He can't spend them in heaven, they are for His children here on earth. This reminds me of a statement Jesus made in Luke 12:32 that it's the Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom.

It is true that God said the poor shall not cease from the land (Deut. 15:11) but poverty isn't meant for God's children at all. Eph. 2:12 talks about the commonwealth of Isreal, meant only for believers and God already said that the wealth of the sinner is stored up foor the righteous (Prov.13:22).

However, the sad news is that many believers are waiting for their prosperity while they sit around doing nothing. God is not a magician but a miracle-working God. Something that God will bless and multiply for prosperity.

In our anchor scripture, the seed of the widow was a pot of oil. Your own seed is also with you; could be anything, but it's surely with you. No doubt.
Pray that God will open your eyes to see that seed in your hand (money, talent, or substance) and what you should do with it for God to multiply it. This year, I see you launched into your realm of wealth and flourishing. #SELAH
