[Topic] - DO NOT MISUSE YOUR TONGUE

[Scripture] - Numbers 22:6b (KJV) : "...for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed."

[Message] - Good morning Beloved. Thank God for a brand new day.

When God called Abraham in Genesis 12, He promised him that whoever blessed him was blessed and whoever cursed him was cursed. Abraham didn't need to say anything, he was blessed of the Lord and whatever anyone else said towards him determined their fate, whether they were blessed or cursed.

However, that promise developed into, 'whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed'. At this point, he had the authority to bless and curse other people and whatever he said carried the backing of heaven. Many believers still do not understand how much power they wield.

Matt.18:18 says whatever I bind or loose on earth is also bound or loosed in heaven. Power of the tongue! Prov. 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. So the tongue has the power to command life and death, blessings and curses. This is the reason why the tongue shouldn't be misused. Many have no idea how many people they have killed with their tongues.

Many have also confirmed their situations by confessing them. Failure, sickness, poverty, is not yours until confess it. Let the weak say, 'I am strong' (Joel 3:10). You should not confess what you see but what you want to see and what God has said concerning you.
Imagine when many say, 'we dey push am', 'I'm dead', 'I am finished', and so on. They have no idea what they're doing to themselves.

Beginning from today, please begin to use your tongue rightly. Start confessing the promises of God over your life, bless yourself and all that's yours, and I see your situation changing for the better today! God bless you!
