THE BOOK OF RECORDS
(Scripture) :- Esther 6:1, KJV. "On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king."
(The Word) :- Good morning Royal Priesthoods. Hope the night was refreshing?
Our actions on earth do not go unnoticed whether they are done in the open or in secret. Psalm 139:12 says, "even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you." (ESV). God is everywhere at the same time all the time. So absolutely nothing is hidden from His eyes. Even the darkness shines like light to the Lord. So the dark is never really dark before God.
All actions are recorded in a book of records. You must have heard, from childhood, that on the last day, there will be a television /screen that plays for each and everyone of us how we have lived our lives. That's true and this can only happen because there has been a recording of all we have done.
A day comes when the books are opened and anytime the books are opened, someone gets paid - either positively or negatively, depending on what has been recorded in the book concerning the individual.
What has been recorded concerning you? How have you been living this life? If the books are opened this moment, will you be paid positively or negatively? The opening of the book that led to the promotion of Mordecai also led to the death of Haman. Where do you stand?
If you know you won't be favoured, it's not too late to turn back to God. Those bad records can be blotted out wi the blood of Jesus (Col.2:15) and you can start all over again to fill the book with good deeds so that the next time the book is opened, you're favoured.
