What do you see?

4th November, 2015 (Wednesday) - WORDS OF LIFE

(Topic) :- WHAT DO YOU SEE?

(Scripture) :- Jeremiah 1:11-12, AMP. "Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it."

(The Word) :- Good morning Your Excellency. Hope the night was refreshingly great?
The Eye is regarded as the light of the body. Anyone who is physically blind will have to fight this challenge. The eye is connected to the mind and what the eye sees can influence what the mind thinks. Remember Prov.23:7 says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Therefore, the eye begins the chain to what a man thinks in his heart.

The question "what do you see?" is an evaluation of faith and not necessarily what vision the physical eye is processing at that moment. This question is so important that if there's a problem with what the eyes see, there's also an issue with what the mind thinks and this directly affects faith. As the saying goes, 'you can't feature in a future you have not pictured.'

Jesus, in Mark 8:22-26, knew that something will continue to be wrong with the man if he saw men as trees so he had to work on that vision until the man saw clearly. We also see in our anchor scripture that Jeremiah saw what God was seeing and as a result, God spoke about a performance. Luke 1:45 speaks about a performance only for those that believe and for you to believe, you must see it and have a strong conviction that God can do it.

Now, God says His thoughts for us are good (Jer. 29:11), therefore the problem must come from what we are seeing. Do you see failure when God sees success? Do you see disappointment when God sees favour? As long as you don't see what God sees, there will continue to be a problem.

The devil always lies. Stop seeing what he shows you, start seeing what God sees. See your success, prosperity, breakthrough, baby, perfect health. If you see it, you can get it. #SELAH

Further Bible Study :- Genesis 15:1-5, Jeremiah 1:10-19.
