GRACE - 6 (SANCTIFIED)

1 Cor. 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

When Adam sinned, we fell from Grace, we left God's house. We became slaves of the Devil. He dealt with us without any remorse. Being slaves of the Devil, we worked and worked so hard, yet without pity. The lost son in Luke 15:11-32 became a slave to the owner of that field. He worked and worked and was not paid a dime. If he was paid something, maybe he would have been able to afford himself a good meal once in a while. He only lived with the Swines and ate their food. He was pumped full of dirt both on the outside and on the inside.

In the same way, while we were in the world, and were slaves of the Devil, he pumped us full of dirt. We had hatred in us, anger, unforgiveness, covetousness, Fornication, adultery, idolatry, stealing, lies, murder, drunkenness, strife, rebellion, and the likes inside of us. The total manifestation of the works of the flesh was evident in our lives (Gal. 5:19-21). We were typical of a child who left his parents' house to go play with the kids next door and they made him roll in mud, so much that he became so dirty from top to bottom.

Like the Prodigal son and his father, when he got back home, apologized, and the father fell on him and kissed him, the next thing that the father asked to be done to him was that he should be washed clean, his clothes should be changed and shoes be put on his feet. He was totally washed clean of all stain and dirt he brought from wherever he went to. His clothes were changed from top to bottom too. By the time they were through cleaning him up, there was absolutely no sign that he was dirty. In the same way, when we become saved by Grace through faith, we enter into the bathroom of the Spirit and are washed from top to bottom with the water, sponge and soap of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit completely washes us of all the impurities we picked up while in the world. The works of the flesh are completely gotten rid of, and by the time He is through with us, there is no sign that we were once murderers, thieves, drunkards, fornicators, idolaters and so on. This is why when a Believer tells you about his way of life in the world, we usually will not believe that such a person changed that much. It was the same with the Apostle Paul who once persecuted the church.

Not only are we washed, our clothes are changed. We now put on a garment called ''Righteousness". GRACE makes this possible for us. God now refers to us as "Sanctified". Glory!

The moment you became born again, you were immediately moved into the bathroom of the Holy Spirit to be washed. Its a process. You don't get discouraged if just midway into your bath, you still see some dirt on you. In the same way, don't get discouraged and return to those bad deeds even if you are now born again and you still see some signs of those bad deeds. It's a gradual process and will usually take some time.

CONFESSION: Glory to God! I used to be outside, now I am inside; used to be dirty, but now I am washed clean by the Holy Spirit. I am sanctified. I am justified. No longer who I used to be, now a completely new creature. He calls me righteous. I am righteous. Hallelujah!

If you are not yet saved, and you are ready to give Grace a chance to make you a new creature, and give you a new life, justified in Christ, you're just a CLICK away.

GRACE - 5 (NO CONDEMNATION)

Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

The two most interesting things about the story of the prodigal son (Lk. 15:11-32) are; that immediately the lost son returned home, he apologized and requested to be made a servant and not a son, but the Father waived it as though he didn't mention it at all, and he requested that the best clothes and shoes be put on him. Not just that, he also received a ring which was a symbol of authority in his father's house. He was completely restored. It was as though he never left.

There is another great story in John 8:1-11. The Scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who they said was caught in the very act of adultery. They said according to the law, she should be stoned to death. They laid all the charges they could against her before Jesus. They practically condemned her. Scripture says Jesus wrote on the ground as though He didn't hear them. The truth was that He actually wasn't interested in their condemnations. He didn't condemn the woman (vs.11). She was totally free as though she didn't commit adultery.

When we sin, not only does God take record of our actions, the Devil also takes record of our sins. The Scripture calls him the accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10). What he does is that he goes to God like a Lawyer does to a Judge and begins to lay accusations against you, telling God all the wrong things you did and what the law says about the punishment. Up until Jesus came, and the blood washed us, the Devil had this legal document, and he kept accusing the brethren.

Then Jesus came, and according to Col. 2:14, Jesus blotted every handwriting of the Devil out with His Blood. So, you know what? This time the devil comes to accuse you before God again like a Lawyer does to a Judge and God asks for the proof. He brings up his document and it's already blank, completely wiped off with the Blood. Without proof, God then declares you and I discharged and acquitted. Humans may condemn you all they want. I'm sure that woman in John 8 wasn't committing adultery with herself, why didn't they bring the man? But like Jesus told her, He doesn't condemn you. There is NO condemnation under GRACE. If Jesus doesn't condemn you for your past, don't listen to the condemnation of the devil or humans.

Those condemnations just have a way of messing with your mind. If Jesus doesn't condemn you, nobody else can. You have been completely restored. The legal document of your past with the devil is wiped clean.  Live like it. Grace did that for you.

DAILY CONFESSION: If God be for me, who can be against me? I am on the Lord's side. I believe what He says about me. I have received my symbol of authority in the Kingdom. I am a product of GRACE, bought by the Blood of the Lamb. I am completely restored, with no condemnation whatsoever. Glory! Hallelujah!

If you are ready to give Grace a chance to make you a new creature, and give you a new life, you're just a CLICK away.

OVERCOMING AN ADDICTION

THE 3P's OF OVERCOMING ADDICTION"

We all know what an addiction is.

Apostle Paul said...

1 Cor. 6:12
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

The moment you're brought under the power of something, it becomes an addiction. Once you can't seem to control yourself from craving for a particular thing. It's become an addiction.
And please, we will do well to know that addiction can be anything and not just pornography, masturbation, list, sex, etc...
You can be addicted to your phone too, you know. You know you are brought under the power of your phone when you can't seem to give God some quality time, until the phone is flat dead. And even when it's flat dead, all you can think about is your social media account and what you're already missing by not being online.

You can also be addicted to FOOD - you can eat anything from anywhere at anytime. As a matter of fact, your friends can call you "Jeni give me 👌🏾" (for those who know what I'm saying 😉).
And so on..

A good number of people are addicted to one thing or the other, whether they are mentioned here or not. The truth is, you can lie and pretend to the world, but there are three people you can't lie to - Yourself, God, and the devil.

The first step to overcoming addiction is accepting the fact that you have an addiction. If you don't, then you won't be saved from it.

Second, is the desire to be delivered. Many know they are under the power of an addiction, but are not willing to be delivered from it. They have even casualized. You hear statements like,
"There's nothing I can do about it.",
"thats just the way I am"
"it's been there for as long as I can remember. No point doing anything about it", and so on.

So we must first admit to it, and then the desire to be delivered. If we then desire to be delivered, here are the 3 P's of overcoming an addiction.

GRACE - 4 (FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN)

Good day Dear Believers, we have so far disussed:

Grace 1 (In need of a Saviour) - we were lost, needed a Saviour and got the best.
Grace 2 (Welcomed back into the family) - we returned back to relationship with God.
Grace 3 (Receive the gift) - Grace is a gift and not a reward for some work. If it is of works, then grace is no more Grace.

Now, today, after Believers begin their faith-walk with God, the devil sometimes brings thoughts of their past life into their minds to get them to think on the wrong they did before they were saved. Such Believers may then doubt if they really were completely forgiven or will still be punished later on. As a matter of fact, whenever they face challenges, it begins to appear to them as though God won't let them go for the wrong they did before they got saved, and God is taking revenge. These are all lies of the devil, and that's why, today, we discuss the fact that Grace has made us totally forgiven, and all past wrongs, completely forgotten by God.

{ Hebrews 8:12 } - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

The moment we become saved; the moment we receive the gift of Grace, the moment we switch sides from the devil to God, the devil doesn't take a break with us. He still returns again, and this time to remind us of how unworthy we are, to receive Grace. He begins to remind us of all the mistakes we made, of what our past looked like, he begins to show us the picture of the people we were before God saved us. He tries to make us feel guilty, so that we can throw Grace away.

Have you ever felt like your whole past life came rushing back at you like a mighty river? And the moment that happened, you began to feel so bad and guilty that you didn't think God really saved you, maybe God just decided to keep your sins somewhere so that He can punish you later. The devil makes us think that there's no way God could have saved someone with such a dark past as us. At this point, the devil tries to convince us that when we go through any tough time, the moment nothing works out, the moment we come face to face with a challenge, it is God punishing us for all of our past. Lies! Lies! Lies! Nothing but lies.

Here is the truth! Col. 2:14 says, "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross". Your whole past life are the "handwriting of ordinances" that Jesus blotted out. He took them out of the way. He nailed them to the Cross. He completely wiped them off. Who would you rather believe? Jesus? Or the devil? Here is another truth. Heb. 8:12 says, "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more". See that? God already promised that He will remember them no more.

Once again, who would you rather believe? Jesus forgave you and did not only forgive you, He forgot about your past life. He sees you as righteous. To Him, it's like you never committed those sins. He really gave you a new beginning. He gave you a chance to rewrite your own life. And that's the truth. So the next time the devil comes and tries to fill your head with how dirty your past was and who you used used to be, look right back at him in the face and remind him of his past also, how he used to be glorious but is now fallen from Grace, never to be redeemed again, and how Jesus came all the way for you instead of him. Let the devil know the Cross was for you, and you're now a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17). Glory!

The truth is that the devil will keep coming. He knows he has lost a fight, and will try to get back at you by throwing thoughts in your head so that you disagree with Jesus. It's like making a wife disagree with her husband by telling her that the husband really didn't forgive her and will take revenge. All lies. Speak the Word into his face and end with the words of Angel Michael in Jude 1:9, "The Lord rebuke thee".

DAILY CONFESSION: I choose to believe what Jesus says about me over whatever lies the devil may fabricate. I believe that I have been forgiven, that all ordinances against me have been blotted out, that my past is completely gone, that I am saved, washed clean and now a new creature, old things are past away, and now everything has become new. Glory!

If you are not yet saved, and you are ready to give Grace a chance to make you a new creature, and give you a new life, you're just a CLICK away.

SALVATION PRAYER

Salvation Prayer

The Gospel is the power of God (Romans 1:16). It can save even the worst of sinners. Paul, who persecuted the church, was saved by Grace.
1 Timothy 1:15 - This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

What is the Salvation Prayer?

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9) .

"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God'" (John 3:3).

Salvation Prayer - The Simple Steps:

1. Acknowledge in your heart that Jesus is Lord.

2. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

3. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and was raised three days later.

4. Repent of your sins and get baptized in the name of Jesus.

"God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen."
If you said that prayer, congratulations, you are welcome to God's family, the household of the saints. What next?
  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God.

However, if you would prefer a direct fellowship with someone, you can send an email to Zoetestimony@yahoo.com, and we will be glad to help you through.

GOD BLESS YOU.

GRACE - 3 (RECEIVE THE GIFT)

Hello Dear Believers,

Still on the series #Grace,

{Romans 6:23 } - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The first thing we should know when dealing with Grace is that it is a GIFT and not a REWARD. You didn't deserve it, you don't deserve it, and you will never deserve it. You were completely dirty, out in the dark, beaten, sick, dead, and JESUS came to the rescue. He came to give a gift, and not a reward. That is what a friend does, and not a taskmaster, or an employer. A friend appreciates you by getting you a gift, while a taskmaster waits for you to work and deserve the gift before giving it to you. You know that there is no way in the world that you would ever have done anything to deserve Grace.

Just like you are paid salaries at the end of the month, you receive the salary with joy because you know that you worked a whole month for the pay. The salary is the reward for your stress, work and effort. If you don't do the work, you know that you shouldn't expect anything. If Jesus were to wait for us to work and deserve the gift, He would be waiting for all eternity because we will never be able to. The gift is only a gift because you don't deserve it. So what do we do with it?

When someone comes to your house and gives you a gift on any day outside a celebration, maybe on a random day, what would be your first reaction to the gift? The truth is that your mind begins to wander and to think of what you did to warrant and deserve that gift. We begin to think that maybe the giver is trying to repay us for something we did. This way, we never treat a gift as a gift, instead, we see the gift as a reward. We either think that the giver shouldn't have gone through so much stress just to get us a gift, or we think that we do not deserve such expensive gift and then we see it as a waste.

In the same way, many of us see ourselves in such a way that we think that Jesus shouldn't have gone through the stress of giving His life, or we think the gift of His life is so expensive that we think He just wasted His life, and could have done something better with it. Jesus is at the door of our lives with the gift of Grace and Righteousness (Rev. 3:20). He wants to give us that gift. He knows we don't deserve it, and that we didn't work for it, but He wants to give us all the same. It only describes how special we are to Him. All we need to do is open the door for Him to come in, receive the gift, say thank you and enjoy the gift.

GRACE - 2 (WELCOMED BACK INTO THE FAMILY)

{Ephesians 2:19 } - Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

One of the worst things that can happen to anyone is to be willfully lost, to walk out of your own home with the desire never to come back again. It always appears cool at the beginning until the person begins to wake up to reality, that there is really no place like home. There is nothing the devil has to offer that is worth leaving the kingdom of God for. Whatever the devil has to offer is always short-lived (2 Cor. 4:18). The devil only uses sugar-coated poisons to lure us out of the presence of God, and then he takes the suger-coating away from the poison. That is when we wake up to reality.

The parable of the lost son in Luke 15:11-32 is about the best illustration to explain the topic. I believe the devil made him think that it was better to live alone than stay with his Father (just as the case is today). The part the devil didn't say was that the son would become his slave. The son left and wasted all, and then after that, the famine started. The suger-coating was gone. The devil helped him to come to reality very quickly. The agenda of the devil was now revealed. The son would resume work in a field, feeding swines and eating the food of the swines.

The glorious part began when he thought to himself that even the servants in his father's house were better than his current situation, which is always the case. God's "worst" will always be better than the devil's best. So he left and went back home. The moment he got back home, there was joy in the house. No scolding whatsoever, no abuses whatsoever from the Father. His Father threw a party to celebrate his return home. He was lost, but now found, he was blind but now could see, wounded but now healed, dead but now alive.

This is the true state of every Believer that is welcomed back into the family of Christ. Your past is completely past. Jesus has forgiven you and forgotten it (Heb. 8:12, Col. 2:15). He has given you a new name, He calls you Righteous (2 Cor. 5:21). He rejoices that you are back (Lk. 15:10). You know what? He didn't replace you in that family. He kept your seat and position waiting for the day you would come back. All you need to do is to thank Him, return to your position as a Son and not a slave, and enjoy your life back into GRACE, welcomed back into the family.

If this is the case, then don't put yourself in the position of a slave when God has made you a Son. Come boldly to the throne of Grace and receive mercy and Grace to help. Understand that Christ has welcomed you back with open arms, your past, completely forgiven and forgotten. Act like the Son that you are.

GRACE - 1 (IN NEED OF A SAVIOUR)

Good morning Dear Believers,

Today, we begin a short series on #Grace and it will get built and progressive. To help us understand what Grace is, what Grace has done, what Grace is doing, and what Grace will do.

{Romans 5:8}-  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

In the beginning, God Almighty created the heaven and the earth (Gen. 1:1). After He created heaven and earth, He began to fill it with all kinds of things like the firmament, animals, plants, fishes, and the likes; He made sure that there was order. However, in all of this, God knew that creation was not complete. One more thing was left. He had created a home, He was left with the occupant. So He made man. Out of His bountiful love and desire for fellowship, He made Man in His image and after His likeness (Gen. 1:26-27).

Earth was beautiful. It was perfect. Divinity and Humanity on the same frequency. Man was clothed With glory and honor. Man wore God's uniform. The glory of God is the reason why the 24 elders and 4 beasts in heaven are always on their face to the ground always worshipping (Rev. 4:10) but God clothed man with glory so that man did not need to fall face down, and could fellowship with God face to face, heart to heart. No heavenly being gave Him fellowship like Man. He was happy because He wanted it and He got in Man.

Then the devil stepped in to cut and destroy the fellowship between man and God, and he succeeded. Man fell. He lost that glory and received shame in return. He lost that life and received death (Rom. 5:17). He couldn't fellowship with God anymore. The devil began to have a nice time with man. Oppression, shame, sickness, poverty and death began to reign among Man. The devil began to have a legal authority over Man, God's greatest creation. We were deep in sin, very unworthy.

However, in all of this, God still came for the rescue. Like a Master coming to buy a slave from his master, He paid the prize completely. Just imagine a negotiation between the intending buyer and the owner. Jesus asked for our price to be bought, and the highest price to have been paid was His life, yet He gave it. What love! While we were yet sinners, unworthy of such love, Christ died for us. Grace came to the rescue. Please understand that Christ has paid the whole price for your redemption. We needed a Saviour and we got the best of all - GOD Himself. Grace has saved you.

However, it's possible for someone to buy you a gift and you refuse to accept it. It's possible for God to have paid your price and yet you refuse to move out of the house of your former owner. Please walk out of the devil's domain and come into God's life. You must accept the sacrifice of Jesus and change sides. Allow Him be the Lord of your life, then you become His child.

DAILY CONFESSION: I have been saved, delivered, made free, restored, redeemed and translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God. I accept the sacrifice of Christ. I am born of God. His seed dwells in me. I am now a member of the household of God and my citizenship is of Heaven. Glory!

YOU POSSESS POWER #ByDefault

Good Day Believers,

Still on the series #ByDefault

YOU POSSESS POWER.

Just as a way of recap, when we say #ByDefault, we mean that it's in you. It's been given to you. You don't look for it. You don't ask for it. You don't pray for it. As a Believer, it's just part of the salvation package. It comes with the life of Christ #ZOE.
So far, we have discussed:
You carry glory #ByDefault
You are victorious #ByDefault
Heaven is your home #ByDefault
Discharged and acquitted #ByDefault
You receive answers #ByDefault
We are discussing these things because in the Spiritual, there is no manifestation without the knowledge or revelation of what you already have and how to use it. These other parts of the series can be accessed from zoescripts.blogspot.com.ng.

Another thing that the Believer must know that he/she carries is power.

John 1:12
But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name (AMP).

This is one of the Scriptures that tells you that you carry power by default. The Word "authority" there is in the Greek transliterated "Exousia" and it means "delegated power and the liberty and right to use power". And this is given to every Believer. We have power. We do not only have it, we also have the right to use it.

By default, the Believer is not weak. There is nothing powerless about the Believer. That Scripture above implies that power has been delegated to the Believer. To better understand that delegated power, we should take a quick look at the one with the power, who has delegated it.

Matthew 28:18
Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

Philipians 2:9
Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name..

That name is of the highest authority in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth. And He has delegated that authority to every Believer. You can open your mouth, use the name of Jesus and the whole universe listens to you. That's the delegated power. Another Scripture that explains this delegated power is...

Luke 10:19
Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

Dear Sir and Ma, salvation is a complete package. God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of POWER (2 Tim. 1:7), but whoever does not know this will keep living in hurt and molestation. It doesn't matter how much you have in your bank account, if you don't know how to withdraw that money, you will continue to remain in want.

Dear Believer, please know and keep knowing, you carry power. Power to be healed. Power to be rich. Power to molest darkness. You don't need to pray for these things again. It's written plainly in Scriptures. Just confess them and use the power delegated to you. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6). God is all-powerful, and you are His child, does that make you any less powerful? NO. Even if at all, you should use the power even more. You have the liberty and right to use it.

John 14:12
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

God doesn't need that power in heaven, as much as you and I need it here on earth to subdue the kingdom of darkness. That's God's will for you and I. You should begin to walk in complete victory.

With the delegated power to every Believer,
You are unkillable
You are unmolestable
You are powerful
You are undefeatable
You are safe and secured
YOU ARE A GOD. Use that power. You have the right and liberty to use it. Look that situation, examination or demon in the face and speak with authority.

The child of the Lion, is not less of a lion. The Child of God, is not less of God.
You carry power #ByDefault.

YOU RECEIVE ANSWERS #ByDefault

Still on the series #ByDefault

Good day Dear Believers,

One of the blessings of being saved through the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, is that we can go to God anytime anywhere and communicate in PRAYER.

Matthew 27: 50-51
50  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.

Ephesians 2:14
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us

The veil torn, we have straight access to God. He speaks directly to us (Heb. 1:1). We don't need to tell our heart desires no more to a prophet to help us go to God in prayers. (Heb. 4:16). We can all appear before God with boldness.

However, praying or talking to God is really not the issue. The issue is that I have noticed that many Believers doubt if sometimes God wants to answer them. Whenever I hear such, I ask them to show me a Scripture where God never answers His children. I only see Scriptures that speak of His goodness in granting His children their heart desires.

Numbers 14:28
As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you

Matt. 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

Mark 7:11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

1Jn.5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.

So Dear Believers, Please know and keep knowing that you always receive answers whenever you talk to God. That you don't see the answers immediately doesn't means He hasn't answered or He isn't willing to answer. He is always willing. You are an heir according to the promise. You are a child. You're Jesus' brother or sister. All that He has belongs to you. You're not permitted to be sad, sorrowful, disappointed, or in tears. No! Don't doubt God's willingness to answer you. Rather, pick the Word, study what He says about that situation and speak and confess it over that situation. You will experience that situation turn around.

YOU RECEIVE ANSWERS #ByDefault

HEAVEN IS YOUR HOME #ByDefault

HEAVEN IS YOUR HOME, BY DEFAULT.

Let me start with this Scripture;

John 14:1-4,
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were notso, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, thereye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know

I don't think the Believer needs to "pray to make heaven". We have that boldness that we don't have anything to do with HELL. If we have to pray to spend eternity with God, then why did Jesus die? What's salvation all about?

*1 Jn. 4:13-17*
13  Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17  Herein is our love made perfect, *that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.*
Did you see that? 2 things must never be forgotten by the Believer.
1. We should have that boldness towards the day of judgment.
2. As He is, so are we in this world.

Jesus went to hell once for us all (Eph. 4:7-11). He completed the journey. He finished that part. The book is closed. The case is forgotten. We have no business with hell. He conquered hell. He defeated hell for ALL Believers throughout eternity, whether Old Testament or New Testament saints. We are citizens of Heaven. How is it possible to to be scared to go to hell?

Eph. 2:19
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.

Phil.3:20
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ

PLEASE, feel free to meditate on those Scriptures over and over. I don't understand how Believers can be afraid to go to hell. Believers? Jesus is coming for you and I. A spotless church, without wrinkles. Jesus' blood did the washing and cleansing. We are clean.
This is what the Scriptures says about us:

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21).
He has sent forth His Spirit into our hearts, crying, Abba Father (Gal. 4:6).

Dear Believers, please know and keep knowing this...

THAT FIGHT IS FIXED!

Good day Dear Believers, Still on the series #ByDefault...

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

John 10:10a
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...

We have one adversary - the Devil. We fight all the time.  He is always looking for a way to steal, kill, and destroy something : our peace, joy, home, finance, possession, success, job, life, loved ones, etc.
Every journey is a fight. Every examination is a fight. Every challenge is a fight. Every struggle is a fight. Every setback is a fight.
However, Dear Believers, there is something about the concept of victory in the life of the Believer that I would want us to know and keep knowing. It's that VICTORY IS NOT AN "OPTION" ON THE RESULT/OUTCOME OF A FIGHT. This means that the Believer does not go to a fight with the option of whether winning or losing. Whether it's spiritual, financial, academic, material, health-wise, and so on.

Every Believer should know that we don't fight to victory. No. Never. We don't fight to win it. WE FIGHT FROM VICTORY. Meaning that we fight as winners already. You know what the Scriptures say? Rom. 8:37
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us".
How can the Believer already be more than conquerors if he/she hasn't fought yet. That's the revelation.

Jesus had this same revelation and knew just how to apply it. He WENT TO SLEEP IN THE MIDST OF A STORM. He wasn't doing it for fun. He knew that He has control over the storm. He knew the moment He stepped on the scenes, the storms would find the back door and windows out of that environment. And that was the case.
Elijah already knew the result of the encounter on that mount. He wasn't skeptical as to whether the prophets of Baal will win. Naaa. It was already a done deal for Him (1 Kings 18:1-40)
Jehoshaphat already knew the result of that battle and that was why he could comfortably put worshippers on the forefront of a battle instead of bombs, swords, shields, and the likes (2 Chro. 20:1-20).

This is the revelation. That fight you're presently fighting is a done deal. That fight with your health is already fought. That fight with finances is already won. That fight in your job is already a success. That you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Dear Believer, it has happened in the future already, you're simply walking into it.

You know how you can re-watch a movie with people who haven't seen that movie before? Or how you can re-watch a football match with people who haven't seen it before? You already know how the movie ends. You already know the scoreboard at the end. While they are shouting and enjoying the suspense, you just laugh and enjoy the superiority. That's who you are. Victorious. Don't let the enemy use that ignorance against you again. You are victorious, and will always be. You were born victorious.

Dear Believers, please know and keep knowing this:
YOU ARE VICTORIOUS, BY DEFAULT.

Because THAT FIGHT, AND EVERY OTHER ONE AFTER THAT, IS FIXED.

Shalom.

THE RIGHT WAY TO PRAY

THE RIGHT WAY TO PRAY.

So I noticed that many Christians aren't praying the right type of prayers.
There are two elements that make prayer what it should be (communication with God), and they are:
FAITH & CONFESSION.

First is FAITH ...
As a matter of fact, you can't be a Believer without FAITH. It's evident all through the Scriptures;
By Grace through faith we are saved (Eph. 2:4-8)
By Faith, we are justified
By Faith, we receive
Without it, we can't please GOD (Heb. 11:6)

So if you take Faith from the Believer, He is DEAD! In fact, the subject of faith is so serious that the Concept of Christianity is referred to as THE FAITH.
Jesus often rebuked His disciples for their lack of faith or little faith, and when He praised a "dog" (an unbeliever), it was for her large faith.

That's why unbelievers can read the Word from cover to cover and nothing happens, but we Believers may pick just a verse and it changes things. What's the difference, please? FAITH.

Handkerchief from Paul's body performed special signs and wonders....Peter's shadow performed miracles but the seven sons of Sceva were beaten by the demon. What was the difference? FAITH.

So FAITH makes all the difference. Now, having understood that...You can pray in two different ways...

1. In the Spirit
2. In your Understanding

1 Cor. 14:15,
I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also.

Praying the Spirit helps build us into maturity,
Jude 20
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

People of God, you can never pray amiss when you pray in the Spirit. It's not possible. Never! You never pray the wrong prayer points in the Spirit. You know why? You pray with the help of the Spirit according to the will of God. And you will ALWAYS get answers (Rom. 8:26-27).

But praying in the understanding can be done amiss. We may pray the wrong prayer points with our understanding (James 4:2). And that's why we should be careful.

Here is how to pray right in the understanding:
When we go to God, we are to make confessions. However, we make mistakes by confessing the wrong things.
As a Believer, you don't go to God confessing sins that you have been forgiven of. Please don't do that again if you have been doing so. Even God forgot about them (Heb. 8:12, Col. 2:15).

Instead, you should confess your REALITY IN CHRIST.
When praying in the understanding, we say things like;
Father, I think you because your Glory is real in my life. I am a champion. I am victorious. Lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places. Your favor and light shines on my path. I am not disadvantaged. I am not a mediocre. I stay on top of my game. I am not confused. I receive directions. I know what decisions to take per time.

YOU NEED TO BREAK A HABIT? Say things like...
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am holy in all manner of conversations. I break this habit. It's not a part of me. My mind is renewed. My heart is transformed. This habit becomes a thing of the past. I am not under its power. The power of the Holy Ghost is at work in me.

YOU WANT TO WRITE AN EXAM? Say things like...
I am a child of the God who knows all things. I know all things. I carry the Holy Spirit, the anointing, who teaches me all things. I am not a failure. I have more understanding than even my teachers. My brain is sharp and receptive to all that I read. My mind is calm. I am coming out a success.

YOU DESIRES PROVISIONS (HEALTH, MATERIAL, FINANCIAL, etc.) say things like...
The earth is the Lord's and its fullness thereof. I lack nothing. I live and walk in abundance. All my needs are supplied according to His in Christ Jesus. My needs are met. I walk in divine health. I live the life of Jesus Christ. His blood flows through my veins. My body is not conducive for disease and sickness. I am rich. I am prosperous.

Dear Believer, Making such confessions in faith, cannot go wrong. NEVER!
This is how to PRAY THE RIGHT WAY.

THE GLORY #ByDefault

THE BELIEVER'S DEFAULT SETTINGS - 1

THE GLORY.

Scripture says we have been _baptized into Christ_
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Rom. 6:3)
And that His Spirit dwells in us sent by God.

*ROM. 8:14-16*
14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God

*Gal. 4:6*
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

There's no doubt about the fact that Believer carries God's presence. And that's why we can walk up to God and call him "Daddy" without any protocols.
We can put our ears to His chest and listen to His heartbeat because we have been made "sons" by that Spirit of Adoption through faith.
You don't have to see a Priest or a pastor to know God's will for your our life. You can bow your head later, even in a commercial vehicle and expressly hear God's voice.
How wonderful it is to carry God's presence. That presence is *His Glory*
It was *THE GLORY* that clothed Adam and Eve before they fell.
It was *THE GLORY* that followed the children of Israel through the wilderness such that they were victorious. Their dresses or shoes never wore out.
It was because of *THE GLORY* that even Kings were reproved for the sakes of God's children saying that they were God's anointed and should not be touched (Ps. 105:14-15)
It was *THE GLORY* that made David win battles...
It was *THE GLORY* that made Solomon never to fight any battle in his lifetime
It was *THE GLORY* that made the burning fire air conditioned for the 3 Hebrew children.
It was *THE GLORY* that made Daniel untouchable for the Lion (King of all beasts)
It was *THE GLORY* that could make our Lord Jesus Christ break all principles, protocol and laws and then do the seemingly impossible...
He fed 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes
He walked on water
He brought money out of the mouth of the fish
He re-created an ear where it was cut within seconds
He healed blind eyes from sand and spittle
He raised Lazarus from the dead.

*THE GLORY*

Now we can go on and on, but how about you, the Believer...
Have you seen John 14:12?
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, *the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do*; because I go unto my Father."

Greater works
Now, this is the question...
If Jesus who carried *THE GLORY* without measure (Jn.3. 34), did all those great things, from that Scripture above, can you imagine what you carry as a Believer? Where is that demon, witch, power, principality that can dare the Believer?
Such is not born or will ever be born. Even the devil is not your match

Let me show you another Scripture

2 Cor. 3:9-11
9  For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
10  For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11  For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

It's the reality of EVERY BELIEVER. You carry God's presence, so even you shouldn't doubt it. If you're already a Believer, you carry it by default.

IT'S IN YOUR DEFAULT SETTINGS.
